Taters & Clover

It has been really wet here… so there hasn’t been opportunity to keep up with the unwanted plants growing in the various garden spaces. If I can get it to load, here you’ll see some tater plants surrounded by the hostile forces of the red clover army. I spent most of the afternoon saving the taters from them. I develop0ed a new technique where you can essentially “mow” without shredding the taters with plant parts, and you don’t have to get down on your knees or bend over to do it. I’d tell you about it, but I’m hoping to write it up and sell the article to a garden mag…

And as for the taters? You can now see all of them, and the clover is just a stump of its former self.
